Service Description

Welcome to your B1-B2 intermediate German class! This course is designed to build on your existing knowledge of the German language and take your skills to the next level. Throughout the course, we will focus on important grammar rules such as verb forms and the German cases (Nominativ, Genitiv, Dativ, Akkusativ) to help you express yourself more accurately and fluently in German. In addition, we will expand your vocabulary on a variety of common conversation topics, including travel, housing, dining, work, relationships, and family. To help you practice your skills, we will use creative dialogs and imaginative scenarios that will challenge you to use your German in real-life situations. You will also have the opportunity to present and test your skills through various projects and assessments. Our class will use a range of materials and methods to keep things engaging and interesting. We will practice using text books and worksheets, read short stories, news articles, song lyrics, and fairy tales, describe pictures and artwork, write and practice role plays, watch and discuss (short) films and documentaries, and explore topics of interest to you. By the end of this course, you will have gained greater confidence in using the German language, and will be able to express yourself more effectively in a variety of situations.
